Topic Avenue welcomes pitches that connect subjects in a clear, grounded way. Send proposals through the Contact page; a concise pitch is more useful than a finished article sent without discussion.
What we welcome
Pitch an original explanation built around a focused question and a meaningful connection between fields. Possible approaches include tracing a pattern, unpacking a word or symbol, examining how a material shapes an idea, or showing how something changes over time. The subject should be suitable for a general audience and useful beyond a passing trend.
What makes a strong pitch
State the central question, the connection you want to explore, and why that connection is worth a reader's time. Include the main examples you would use and the kinds of sources that could support factual claims. Keep the scope manageable, note relevant expertise or interests, and say whether the proposal has been offered elsewhere.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your pitch. Do not submit confidential material or assume a proposal has been accepted until Topic Avenue replies. A pitch should make its own angle clear without relying on inflated claims or an unfamiliar reader's specialist knowledge.
