Editorial policy

Topic Avenue aims to make cross-disciplinary topics clear without making them seem simpler than they are. We check factual claims, distinguish explanation from interpretation, and make a correction when a meaningful error is identified.

Accuracy and clarity

Writers should rely on dependable source material suited to the claim and explain technical terms in context. Articles should separate established information from interpretation, avoid unsupported certainty, and describe the limits of an example or comparison. Where useful, the article identifies the basis for a claim so readers can understand how it is supported.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and fit with Topic Avenue. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions or guarantee coverage. Contributors should disclose relevant interests to the editor before work is accepted.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review the detail and, when a correction is warranted, update the article with wording that makes the change clear. A correction is not a place to quietly alter a material point.

Partner material and illustrations

Any paid, supplied, or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when used, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary evidence.
